| iRiver H120 20GB has given me a lot of excellent service. It also records in WAV/MP3 formats from optical/line/microphone inputs ! Plays anything I throw at it.
Under £200 when I bought mine. It will also take the alternative firmware thingy, but I can't remember the name of it now !
