Have you changed any router/firewall settings? If not can you try switching off your router for a few minutes and rebooting?
I'v asked on the IDNet forums and people are using FF2 to do everything ok that I can't

I've tried turning the firewall off on the router as well, this made no difference either.
Someone on the FF forums suggested that it was a SSL problem and gave me a SSL link that tests the browser, it failed the test.
Is there any ports I can open so that sites using SSL will be allowed access?
Thanks for the help

I'm actually quite liking IE7 at the moment, quite a strange feeling.
