Re: **Official ABIT AB9 QuadGT Review/Overclock/Guide Thread**

First hello, and sorry cause my bad English :-(

I have this MoBo and a problem too. Problem is EZ-CMOS switch. Allways got "CC" code on POST. I replace this switch with standard 3-pin jumper. I hope so that will working but can't test because haven't CPU?!

Now, I want to buy new CPU. Don't understand CPU support list. What does it mean that some CPU is "Ready"?

    E5200, E8200, E8300, E8400 users, please help me...
Which CPU can work 100% on this MoBo with 1.7 BIOS? Which revision?

    Thanks

with BIOS v1.8 this MoBo support Q9400, Q9550 (maybe with v1.7 too).
Offcourse, You can use graphic card with PCI-expres 2.0 on Abit AB9 QuadGT.
    I have HIS 4830 IceQ4, haven't problem.

    Best regards

P.S. I can send You BIOS v1.8 by e-mail if You need it.

you'll probably find that W7 will have all the drivers already built-in with the exception of 1 for the uGuru chip.
If not (with the exception of uGuru) you'll be able to get them simply by going to the websites of the manufacturers of the various components e.g. Intel for the chipset, Realtek for sound etc. etc.

I have this board in my dad's machine & can't seem to get it to sleep properly in Win 7 x86. Its been a long time since I used it, could it be the uGuru driver missing that causing the issue ?
