    Abit Fatal1ty FP-IN9 usb problems

    Hi all,

After reading many reviews, ummming and aaahhing loads, and accepting a tight budget as per my financial director (mrs SteveJK, aka Wife), I took the plunge and order the Abit Fatal1ty FP-IN9 yesterday. My system spec has been saved in my profile.

Needless to say when it arrived today, I was over the moon. Soon as the kids were inbed, I implanted the board into my current pc. With a clean hdd prepped, it powered on 1st time! Wooohoooo.

Entered the bios and checked all settings we fine. Set the date and time and made sure the CD drive is the 1st boot device. Now with all the above my Logitech G15 keyboard works OK. So I reboot, and see POST appear with the message for me to press any key to boot from CD. Interestingly enough, NADA. The USB devices (g15 and mouse) do not have any power once the POST has displayed. Yes reboot, enter BIOS, and G15 works fine.

The BIOS does have the USB to be OS controlled, is that ok?
    Am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks in advance,
    Steve

    Just done that and voila!

My understanding is that setting it to BIOS is restrictive in a way, however, it worked.

Installing Vista now as we speak, thanks for the reply Buff.

    Regards
    Steve
