    ABIT IP35 PRO + E8600 won't bootup problem , wrong temp???

    Hay Guy
I just bougth a new E8600 Cpu and i install to ABIT ip35 pro. It's seem to have a problem with
lastest BIOS 17 ,so I try downgrade the BIOS to 16 It seem to be work but have many problem,
Cpu Temp doesn't corrrect, I cannot shut down the PC otherwise It can't boot up , I need to clear BIOS
to bootup again normal. I think the problem should be E8600 still doesn't have in data sheet Cpu support
    for Ip35 pro.
Anyone have E8600 in this time? Hope they launch a new Bios update soon.

That's interesting. I'm planning to get the E8500 with that board next week. I'll watch this thread with interest. Hopefully the E8500 won't have that problem.

How much did you pay for your E8600?

    Hi Guys,

We are about to get BIOS versions for the current Intel boards to support the new E0 stepping. At this moment the temps are shown incorrectly, most likely because the Tjmax has been changed with the new stepping.

I have a Abit ip35 board updated to bios version 18 and shut disabled the temp function in the bios and it boots and runs fine.It would not boot with the temps enabled it thought the processor was running to hot.
