Re: BIOS updates for Intel E0 stepping

Does anyone know, where to get the files from page 1?
The site is down (for a while now)?
Google gives me tons of useless links if i try to find certain filenames...

Re: BIOS updates for Intel E0 stepping

    Greetings,

I just purchased a E8400 E0 for my FP-IN9 SLI. Would anyone be able to share a working link to m624b_18.bin or email me a copy?

Thanks in advance for your time and assistance.

I finally found those E0 beta bios updates.
A member from another forum was so kind and send them to me.
    Download them here :
    http://www.file-upload.net/download-...les-E0.7z.html
Packed with 7zip ( WinRar should work also ).

I sent you an email, i hope you can send me these files.

Im trying to get an E5700 to work with an Abit Fatal1ty, so far it's working but cpu multiplier stuck at 6x, and the processor don't go above 1200Mhz.

My last hope is a bios update, do you mind to send me the Abit FP-IN9 SLI bios?

    Thank you a ton.

Re: BIOS updates for Intel E0 stepping

Thank you all people, I just want confirm that my new cpu (E5700 step R0), works perfectly with BIOS v18.

Temps and cpu scalling that didn't work with bios v16 now works flawlessly.

So far i didn't notice any bug or weirdness.

My guess is that all cpus step E0 and above will be compatible with bios v18.
