I haven't seen any feedback on the fix. As far as I know, I'm the only one running it, on my IP35-E.
Btw, I don't know how IP35 Pro works, but if it doesn't shut itself down and restart itself after enabling VT-x in BIOS, you should power down manually and restart it.
    I think this way works

Re: BIOS updates for Intel E0 stepping

Hello Experts Im reading alot of about the abit ip35-pro xe and the intel Q9650 processor, I have both, and I've installed the most update bios of abits web site but Im still gettin the wrong temp reported in bios? Is there a beta bios out there? That possible supports VT-X as well.

Ive looked on quite a few thread but all I can find are dead links.

Hope all is well and thanks

I find it quite irritating that your engineers fix one issue without resolving the other.

For those who didn't figure yet, abit is now defunct, expect no further support or development.
Abit official bioses has released before those cpus appear on market.

Re: BIOS updates for Intel E0 stepping

    Hi

I am using a A-bit IP35 pro mobo with my E6550, its rock stable at stock and also while overclocking.
Right now i am using a modded version of the ver.18 bios.

I am think up upgrading my proccy to E8400, for better OC facility and performance. So will it work fine on my mobo, or will it result in some issues.

Read the whole thread, but didn't get any direct answer. Anyone who had done this, please share your experience.

Lightbulb Re: BIOS updates for Intel E0 stepping

    Dude,

I do believe that if your new CPU is Stepping "E0" or "C0" it will run fine.

I do have an E8400 C0 and with BIOS 16 (not beta, it´s an old oficial BIOS) and works fine. Runnig N.B nVIDIA 650i here.

Do you have N.B P35, great chip, i believe that will work with no problems !

So just check the CPU Stepping, if is C0 it will run with no problems at all, if is E0 you will have to use de BIOS from this topic. ROLO01 send you this file he is master dude on this....

    Thats All Folks !
