MMC won't install

Hello all,
I'm trying to install MMC (tried 9.09, 9.08 and 9.06) on my laptop with a Radeon 9000 Mobility so I can use Eazyshare (the network TV feature) with the x800xl on my desktop. As per the instructions, I install them in order. The first 2 downloads (UCI and DVD Decoder) install successfully but the actual MMC (3rd download) quits soon after Windows Installer starts. As per ATI support, I tried using a selective Windows start up so absolutly nothing else is running in the background but it doesn't work. ATI support has no idea why. No I have a fresh install of Windows XP and still no MMC versions install.

Have you tried MMC 9.13?
