Re: HTC Desire to One series jump

The One S does compete with the One X in some benchmarks, obviously is smaller and smaller screen resolution. Hopefully when the prices settle could get a good deal on it?

Apps arent optimised for quadcore yet either.

One thing that concerns me is that there is mixed reports about tegras ability to actually play back different formats of video, its apparently a bit sketchy :s

Dialaphone have a couple of decent deals on aswell.

Re: HTC Desire to One series jump

I jumped from the HTC Desire to the Galaxy Note. I never found the Note to be plasticy. The One X is lovely, but doesn't have a big enough screen.

Re: HTC Desire to One series jump

Happened to be in town a couple of days ago and decided to take a detour into an O2 store then an Orange store while passing. That was a mistake!

The wife now wants a Galaxy Note as an upgrade from her Desire HD, even though she isn't eligable for an upgrade until October, and that's an early upgrade too.

I have a One X on back order with T-Mobile online. I'm not sure of the deal I got, it appears I've pulled a fast one with them. I'll find out if the order actually goes through and what my next bill looks like. I'll keep you posted
