2nd best Android news I have heard today:
http://www.pcpro.co.uk/news/381211/m...rce=newsletter
At last, it looks like we'll be getting performance phones with not-massive screens...

I think we might start to hear more from them after the GIO, or whatever it's called. Never heard of BLU though...
According to their website they are the leader of the Latin America region. I haven't heard of them either mind.
I just want to see HTC taking this approach aswell as in general, i like their hardware. Sense is OK, best of the bunch IMO, but it adds to update/development time and isn't really necessary.
LG aswell, software and lack of updates seems to be their main complaint, going stock would make their life far easier i would have though.
I was glad to hear the second bit of news there (moto making a smaller phone), until I read somewhere else that they were quoted saying something along the lines of them not focussing on specs, rather focussing on the overall experience, or something... Which worries me, because there are already plenty small phones that don't "focus on specs"... and if all they do is make an under-specced small phone, then it will turn out to be a complete non-event. =/
From the original article which the posted article took its info from.
"We believe in getting away from the spec wars that are just about specs and not about consumers. That's the simple way out: spec, spec, spec. I don't think that's the answer,"

Motorola have a terrible reputation in the UK for lack of support, updates, customer service. In the past Motorola have shown bugger all interest in the UK.
I won't be touching Motorola , my Milestone 2 never got any updates in the UK, even with its software glitches that pooed the Wifi, Motorola never fixed it in UK.
Sweet nothing better than stock ^^
Motorola has always been so underrated man...I too am signing up for one
Not really a new thing tbh , If you guys have mobiles and you want to run stock android then why dont you just root it as stock android roms are really easy to install and most phones are easy to root too.
if you guys need any info about rooting then visit xda developers.
Hmmm. Worst Android news I've heard in a while, since it tightens, yet again, Google's grip over Android s/w components. It might be good news for developers not having to deal with variants, but bad news for privacy.
