    Note 5

Will you get Note 5 if it is following Galaxy S6, sealed battery and no SD card?

    Re: Note 5

If storage upgrades are cheap like on the OnePlus, yes. 64GB is a minimum for me, and I can't afford to pay an extra 100 on an already expensive phone.

    Re: Note 5

Hell no. This is the reason why I went for the note 4 instead of the s6.

    Re: Note 5

The Note 5 would have been about the best upgrade for me from my Note 2.
The only reason I can use my Note 2 after 32 months is because of the ludicrously massive 10.5AH battery that means it can last over a day with everything switched on.
The Note 5 is going to have a better quality build, so no way would I invest in such an expensive device if I knew that lifespan was limited by the battery.
Disappointing that the Note 2 upgade to Lollipop rumours are probably unfounded (happy to be proved wrong) - but my Note 2 does everything I need - games and GPS map tracking still work perfectly - will probably use it 'til it dies - well that's my phone well and truly cursed

    Re: Note 5

10.5AH battery must stick out a bit ... my standard note2 is only 3.1 Ah !

As to the question, no microSD slot = no sale.

    Re: Note 5

There was a point where I was thinking of the note5; however, still on the Note3 and just using the current cm12.1 builds really doesnt give me much of an incentive to upgrade anymore.

Is there anything that actually demands those specs at the moment?

Might even just keep on a rolling contract and wait for the Note6 / S7 lol

    Re: Note 5

I've chosen the note 4 over the s6 this time because I do not want the compromises even though the s6 is so gorgeous in build and speed.
To me memory if the biggest factor since apps are getting so big these days, especially games and photo resolutions.
Both, battery and memory can be external.... with portable batteries and OTG Usb drives.
Built-in batteries can be replaced if it degrades too bad over time.
USB drives are probably most useful for temporary storage of big files that you may only use once on the phone like Movies and TV Series.
