    Antec 300 power on LED

    Hi,

I have an Antec 300 case and have just installed my MSI P55-GD80 motherboard however I cannot get my power LED to work. How do I get the antec 3 pin header to work with the 2 pin connector on the motherboard? I've attached a pic to help explain.

    Thanks,

    Sunny

cut it down the middle where there is no pin, mount it so the parts that have the cut face out so it will fit when both are together making it a 2 pin.

Looking back at the manual, it says i can use pins 1,3,5 (from JPF2) for the front panel also but whats the difference between this one and the one in JFP1?

Re: Antec 300 power on LED

i'm not sure what the differences is between the 2 but i had the same problem with my gd80 and have the power led pins mounted on the jfp2 on pins 3 and 5, which seems to work

Some cases have 2-pin front panel power connector but most have three (no wire in middle). If it has three pin then connect it to JFP2 1-5.

Re: Antec 300 power on LED

Well i tried that and it didn't work. Works fine however plugged into 3 and 5, however it does mean modding the connector so both pins are next to each other
