| Is it worth getting acoustic foam for a p183? Hi there, I'm planning on putting together a i5 system with a 5850 using the p183 case. I'm quite sensitive to noise and will probably w/c my system when a 5850 cover is available. My question is this: I know the p183 is excellent at reducing noise but is it worth me fitting acoustic foam to try to reduce it further such as the stuff at: http://www.quietpc.com/gb-en-gbp/pro...erials/ap-kits ? Cheers, Greg |

Furthermore, the three-layer, sound-deadening side panels and front door (aluminum, plastic, aluminum) add to eliminating as much noise as possible and ensure quiet operation. | Re: Is it worth getting acoustic foam for a p183? What do you use your PC for and whats the CPU spec? I always thought water cooling was the wat to go for a silent pc but after many years of trying I could never hit silent. Noise from pumps were the biggest issue. In the end I have just brought a super quiet CPU heatsink and GPU cooler and have a silent pc. Gets turn from silent to slight noise when playin COD4 but thats to be expected. |
