Macbook pro 2.53Ghz Bootcamp Modern Warfare 2??

    Hi,

I know laptops in general are regarded as rubbish for gaming unless you buy a high priced brick like an Alienware area 51 / Dell XPS etc but I have to ask the question anyway!

Will a Macbook pro 15" 2.53Ghz with a 9600m card play Modern Warfare 2 on even medium settings?

If not, could anyone suggest a reasonably equipped alternative laptop under £1,000 that could handle some COD MW2 gaming at medium res and settings? I already have a powered up desktop but I need a portable solution that can also handle some gaming action.

Help please, as i am overloaded by the choices out there!!

    Thanks.

No I haven't committed to buying one yet. Has anyone run COD4 MW on theirs?

i think your best bet might be to google it, I'm sure people have tried it before. Try youtube, I remember when the unibodys first came out many people tested games on it and posted videos showing its capability or inability.
