    The Mac mini had to go back to work, but I'm loving the k/b & mouse

    RAM? Yes. Anything else? Virtually impossible. Apple Macintosh laptops are among the worst for user repairs/upgrades.

    On the current MacBook the memory and HDD are trivial upgrades. The Pro is a bit of a night mare for everything except ram.

    Heh, I haven't had mine a month now & the wrist-rests are already a delicate shade of yellow & it's already in for repairs!

    PS. what antiquated windows version are you using?
    That be good ol' win2kprosp4, the only version of Windows I am prepared to use. I just can't stand XP or Vista, & reserve 98se for really old hardware (like my 233MHz lappy, which actually ran surprisingly well!).
