    What Mac have you got?

    I've got a Power Mac 4400/200 with 80mb ram, and a 2gb hard drive, (it's got a 603e 200mhz cpu), and Mac os 9, and it's really slow

    PowerBook G4 Ti 400Mhz, 512MB ram, 10GB HDD, OS X (10.2).

It's pretty good, but I hate the way the buttons press against the screen and leave marks when it's closed.

thats quite a hectic amount of macs you have there

well i would post this in the what was your first pc thread but it's a mac ofcourse and it was my first computer it was prolly state of the art then in early 1995

it's an apple mac performa 630 which had a 33mhz cpu (iirc, its prolly in the loft somewhere ) had 8mb ram and 512mb hard disk and a tv tuner which was really cool , so much for state of the art my iPaq is quicker but it was definately something back then and probably the hardest things to find for it were games (as the mac market didnt appeal to many consumers then)

/me remembers heading off to cex every weekends to see if they had any mac titles like marathon and marathon infinity

Heh, they're not strictly mine as such. I work in a Music department at a uni. I use em, have to look after em and generally maintain em so they're as good as mine.

Got a new 17" G4 Powerbook on the way to replace my PC soon as well with a bit of luck.

Good laptop, but I hunnngerrr for a G4.....good mp3, ogg player, excellent quality DVD. Hacked to allow monitor spanning not just mirroring. Airport, 384Mb RAM, umm....it's the 12.1 inch type. Radeon gfx rather than Radeon 7500, sadly. I reckon the graphics and speed bump to 900MHz would make such a difference with X.2...but I'll wait until the next revision before I trade her in, I reckon.

    Well Hello!
