Wink noobie mistakes in IL2:FB :: Number 39

A 20% to 100% throttle change in the Me-262. Burn, baby, burn. Won't be doing that again in a hurry.

Also, kidding myself that I could fly a big bomber [name forgets me..] upside down at about 5 foot off the ground. It was going well untill I hit a hillside.

    Damn naturally formed earth features!

I'm sorry but the sexual conotations related to your post Trig are just far to easy

You'd try and get anything onto it's back if given half a chance

I've been playing il2 for a little bit, just trying to learn me keys actually, printed off a key list for meself now but I usually play in the early hours of the morning when it's quiet so I can fly about and not look like a complete numpty Still can't take off on the actual runway tho

Cool beans. I'll sort that program out, and try and meet up with a bunch of you. You there most nights, or any inparticular?

Ah ha. Nice one Deckard. When you guys fly, is it a free for all, or is it team/mission based.

Anyway, if you see me in the air in the near future, remember to treat me nice. K? No n00bie bashing. That's being mean.

[Incidentally, if I were to crash -- I know, silly suggestion -- and bail out, what happens? Do I automatically bag another plane on a runway, or do I wait for...whatever, or d/c and reconnect?]

    Cheers.

Can be a bit of both or though we're tryin to head to more team based stuff with co-ops etc.

I'll have to look out for you in h/l, whats your nick?

If you crash/die you just refly and you'll be back on the runway unless the host has limited the number of planes.

well, I'll go for Maffu. Although hardly a team simmer [besides, 1942, I'm a OLRer through and through. I race for me, and me only] although I'll try and fit in. I suck something silly, so won't be much use to anyone for a while!

I have the same problem with 109's.... dunno why - they are a fantastic aircraft - the FW190 is marginally better for me, but somehow still "wrong" can't fly em at all had a nice DF with Hat before - me in LaGG3 and him in 109 - put holes in his window and everything afore I had to "pancake" cos I'd screwed me engine and run out of bangy stuff

The 109 always feels slow somehow, soon as you throttle back to 80% to cruise feel like your crawling along, when I fly it I cant seem to climb as well as I can in the russain planes, yet a 109 is a sod to stay with in a climb
