Okay, heres how it goes. Everything was working fine, and all of a sudden, I don't know what I did, The Capture card on my ATI ALL IN WONDER 9800 Pro 128MB completley STOPPED working. Yes, I have done my homework, I have researched for days, to no avail. I use virtualdub normally, but I have tried every capture program that I can find since this has happened. I HAVE re-installed and un-installed the drivers (Catalyst, have tried the old ones and the new ones) several times, using Driver Cleaner Pro to clear them properly. I know that I have installed them correctly, because I have done it successfully on several occasions. I also am moderatly savvy with computers, so its okay to be technical in your response, if you have one. In VirtualdubMod, and VirtualdubVCR, the only availible capture device listed is "Microsoft WDM Image Capture (Win32)" In Virtualdub, it has "ATI T200 AVStream Analog Capture (DirectShow)", "Microsoft WDM Image Capture (Win32)", And "Video file (emulation)" None of them work properly. When I switch inputs, the screen flashes the picture of the xbox input of either conposite or through coaxial through the output of my VCR depending on which one i have the rca plugs hooked up to. The image is displayed for approximatly one and a half seconds, then if slowly changes colors and fades away. Just in case I didnt explain the VCR thing right, I have the RCA plugs hooked into the input of the VCR, and then sending the signal to my ALL IN WONDER via output coaxial of my VCR. I know that this works because the exact same thing described above has happened to me with that connection. I am trying to cover everything that I can think of so no one wastes their time posting suggestions that I have already done. I am stumped, can anyone help a 17 year old kid out? I will love you forever If you fix it. Help is greatly appreciated! ( I have tried the WDM --> VfW wrapper for virtualdub, but I am not sure that I installed it right)
Thanks so much!! -Masta Shake

Hi Masta Shake,
What you describe really doesn't sound right. It almost sounds like something is physically broken on your card or something. Can you please try installing the latest drivers and MMC (Multimedia Center) available at www.ati.com (go to "Drivers and Software" and choose your OS and then All-In-Wonder). Try it with that and if it still doesn't work try putting regular cable TV signal in the coaxial input to see if you can get TV to work with MMC. Let me know how it goes.

Hi Masta Shake,
If you have the latest drivers and the latest MMC and you can't even get cable TV to work then there's definitely something not right there. Please try calling our technical support and tell them about this problem. Go to www.ati.com and click "Contact ATI", then "Customer Care", then "Telephone" and find your local support number (you'll probably need to register your product). If you want, you can try to install the drivers/MMC that came on the CD with the product (uninstall all ATI stuff you have on right now first), just to try it out before you call the technical support. That might be helpful.
