9200 AiW MCE drivers

I am currently trying to get Windows Media Centre Edition 2005 to work with my old skool 9200le AiW (256MB AGP 8x).
The default drivers installed by MCE work for the WDM devices and it detects the gfx card correctly but when i try and start Media centre I get an error saying "gfx is not supported in MCE"
When I try and update my drivers I get "No INF found" then "Please try and re-install using standard vga".
Well, I tried and it doesn't work.
This is a clean MCE install (done yesterday) and after each failed attempt or 2 I use driver cleaner.

The current drivers don't support my card but I am unable to find ones that do ...

I did manage to get some "omega drivers" to work and get past this problem however I get another problem with those instead - the WDM devices are removed and I am unable to reinstall in them using 3 different sets of WDM drivers I have (including the latest)

I have searched around and all I can find is WDM drivers for 9600 and above however the default ones installed by MCE 2005 work, but these are unistalled when I udate the gfx driver and I cannot seem to get them back

Any help appreciated.

OK, got it sorted.
If anyones interested I got in running using the omega display drivers and WDM version 4.07 (6246) which is from the 5.11 catalyst package.

thanks for that, you saved me a headache for sure. Just installed Vista RC2 on a machine I had laying around and it has a 9200, nice one ATI, you think they would have supported the whole 9xxx series for Vista, not just the 96xx up.

FYI

wanted to give you links to the site and drivers below but cannot due to not having posted five times on this website, sigh.

Well, I'm sorry for the soft-mod problems on last release, I was not aware ATI completely changed how the display driver works from Cat 6.6 and up, so I tried hacking with some old files, didn't worked. For this release thou I decided to use external help with the soft mods and I hope everything works now, many thanks to W1zzard and Tech Power Up for their help on this.

Also, please be aware, the same rules ATI apply to their drivers apply to my drivers as well, so with a sad heart I must inform you that the Omega Drivers no longer support 92xx or lower cards, the drivers will install, but they may give you a BSOD upon boot or a black screen. If you have any of these cards that where "dumped", please use the Omega Drivers v3.8.252 or older, they can be found in the Archive section.

Heres the links:
Omega drivers archive

WDM drivers from techpowerup

I forgot to say, these drivers work for me with MCE 2005 but they are not BDA drivers so the TV on the AiW will not work in the media centre app, so I use MMC for that
