X1950 XT - to HDMI
currently using the VGA-in connector on my Pioneer 506XDE Plasma to attach my media box. Now that I have a Connect3D X1950XT, I'll be looking to make use of the HDCP support by trying to pump the DVI-I signal onto one of the HDMI ports. Has anyone had any success with this setup yet?
I'm aware that I'll need to buy either a DVI-I to HDMI converter or a similarly headed cable. Do I need any drivers for my screen or will Vista Ultimate just recognise it as soon as it's plugged in? Any comments welcome, thanks. |
