X1950 XT - to HDMI

currently using the VGA-in connector on my Pioneer 506XDE Plasma to attach my media box. Now that I have a Connect3D X1950XT, I'll be looking to make use of the HDCP support by trying to pump the DVI-I signal onto one of the HDMI ports. Has anyone had any success with this setup yet?

I'm aware that I'll need to buy either a DVI-I to HDMI converter or a similarly headed cable. Do I need any drivers for my screen or will Vista Ultimate just recognise it as soon as it's plugged in?

Any comments welcome, thanks.

no drivers apart from ur standard gfx drivers, HDMI is simply DVI+audio although in your case the audio component will not be transfered over the HDMI

Motherboard, Abit Quad GT, has "HDMI audio output" pins. I take it that the Connect3D card doesn't have "HDMI audio input" pins hidden anywhere?
