Using XP Catalyst drivers in Win2000... Safe?

Just wondering, as the last update for the Cats in 2k is 6.2 and XP has 7.4 now. I'm running an x1600xt PCIe, there shouuuuuuldn't be much difference (if any) between the two, right?

Probably go and end up installing them anyway, see if they work (and then probably **** about in safe mode uninstalling them when it all goes titsup, knowing my luck) but I just thought I'd ask first

I like ellipses...
