MMC TV's control panel is embedded inside TV picture

Help: I launched the TV after closing out the DVD player while it was in full-screen Easy-Launch mode, and now my TV tuner control panel is embedded inside my TV window rather than being attached below it where it's supposed to be.

How do I get it out? It's overlaid on the bottom of the TV picture itself. If I shrink the Display Size down to a small window, the control panel disappears.

This is all while using the Classic skin for the TV; switching to other skins pulls the control panel out to the external box where it's supposed to be, but I can't stand those other skins. Switching back to Classic skin, it reverts to being embedded inside the picture.

This happened once before, and I recall it didn't go away that time until I reinstalled the whole MMC. Don't want to have to go through that again.

Am running Multimedia Center v9.08 with an ATI 9800 Pro video card, all latest-posted drivers and software installed, Win2K OS.
