Any plans to indroduce anyting like nvidias Hybrid power?

I really like my HD4870 but I dont like its idle power draw, with nvidia cards and boards you can switch to the integrated graphics and power down the add in card when not gaming.
I really like this idea but dont want to swap graphics cards to do so.
AMD / ATI are really big on energy efficiency so im surprised that you dont do something like this?

I'd really like to see this functionality too.
