Catalyst Media Center won't download guide

XP SP2 Pro Dell Dimension 2400 onboard audio and video

Just purchased and installed the TV Wonder 650 pci card. I cannot download the EPG program guide.

Is anyone else having this difficulty?

I even disabled my software firewall and bypassed my router. When I open the program something is (Icon in system tray) downloading to my computer but can't figure out where.

I decided to return the card to comp usa. Without the guide it wasn't worth $130.

I reinstalled my old ATI TV Wonder VE and the guide was working which as strange as it appears I couldnt' get to Gemstar + Plus guide previous to that also. Two guides not working I started to question my end of it but...

I spoke with ATI about the issue that I couldn't download the EPG guide and they indicated there is a software problem with the provider cyberlink and they have no idea when it will be fixed.

They had no answer to why the Gemstar + Plus guide couldn't be downloaded and suggested I contact Gemstar direct. There is no way to do this. The one customer care page I could find they never replied to my ticket requests about the issue with the TW VE Gemstar guide.

Oh well, back to the old card and saved myself $130
