Asus A8N-e + Sapphire Theatrix 550 PRO problem
Hi everyone,
I have a problem with my MB Asus A8N-e and Ati Theatrix 550 PRO: the system is a unstable and freeze when I try to capture signal from TV tuner. Where is the problem - in the chipset or something else and have a solution or not? Thank you in advance. |

I had the same problem. I've sent email to Sapphire, Ati, nVidia, Asus and even Samsung. No success. I've also tried almost all TV program's, but only K!TV worked, but without hardware MPEG compression. I think the problem is in the nForce chipset, it is playing with the PCI-e latency's and this great tuner didn't liked this. How to solve this problem? Buy another motherboard BUT not with nForce chipset! I've bought an Asus A8R32-MVP-Deluxe, and now everythig is working fine.
Asus was the most helpful, they even wrote a new beta BIOS for me, but it didn't helped... Not their fault I think. |
