Help please
Ok, I am gonna ask a newbie question here, but when it comes to using "unsupported" software with ATI products, I am new...
I loved the MMC, but absolutely hate CMC. I currently run the ATI TV Wonder 550 PCI. I want to goto MMC. How do I install the MMC and make it work? I tried installing the driver for the tuner card and then the MMC itself. Do I need things like the DAO? and such? |

Hi,
Download all of MMC 9.16. The DVD Decoder probably won't install, but do this: Install the UCI package first, then the XCode. It will tell you that it can't find a required product. Don't worry. Go to C:\ATI\XCode folder and install the packages from there separately. Then install the 9.16 MMC and reboot when it tells you to. When you return to Windows, if it's XP with SP3, right-click on the shortcut to the ATI TV and use Comptability Mode for 98/Me and you should be good to go. It worked for me. Mark |
