Lockups with ATI 650.
Hey guys,
So I have a problem with my capture card. It locks up my PC when viewing input. Not just the program, but the whole PC. I have to do a cold boot to get it back up again. I have tried various capture programs, such as Virtualdub, iuVCR, and AMCAP. I've never tried Catalyst Media Center because it won't even install off the CD, but whatev. My old ATI TV Wonder Value Edition got along swimmingly with any program I chose to capture with, so I don't see how this should be any different. I've updated drivers and tried various versions of capture programs, no change in the result of the problem. My specs are as follows: Core2Duo 6400, 2 gigs of ram, Nvidia 7950GT video card (maybe it's not getting along with the ATI cap card? Haha). Anyway, I'd love to get this to stop locking up, as video capturing and editing is a hobby of mine that I can't do with this bum card. |
