Vista Beta and Theater 550
Has anyone tried the Vista beta with a theater 550 yet?
Mine won't even boot Vista from the DVD. (x64 or x86) I've even removed the card, installed Vista then put the Theater 550 back in but it just freezes at the loading screen. I'm using that public beta that was made available a while ago. Last edited by bubbaganoush; 17-06-2006 at 12:54 AM. |

I have used a Sapphire Theatrix Theater 550 Pro with Windows Vista Beta 2 (Build 5384) along with an ATI HDTV Wonder as well.
No problems what so ever,…. Accept,… MCE 2K5 as well as Vista MCE both have a bug that causes channel 1021 CBS affiliate (digital) to be configured with an incorrect frequency. This renders the channel unusable but if I manually configure the correct frequency it works,....however,... guide information is then lost,….
