Problems with 550 Pro in a dual tuner configuration

Hi all,

some major problems with 2x 550 Pro using MCE 2005 RU2 (tested with the newest 550 drivers):

The MCE 2005 machine is connected to two digital cable STB's using SVideo cables.

1. Teletext data alternates between channels:

When I record one channel and use the other card to view another channel's teletext data, the teletext data seen on the screen alternates between the channel being recorded and that being viewed. Very annoying.

2. Certain channels start stuttering when recording and viewing at the same time:

A number of channels in my lineup exhibit this, it never occurs when I set the machine to use only one 550 Pro or e.g. 2x WinTV-PVR-USB2. When I record one channel and then change to one of the problem channels to view it, live TV playback starts stuttering after viewing for about 30-60 seconds. The stuttering is a pause of about 200-250 ms at regular intervals. Could this be some sort of copy protection erraneously kicking in (e.g. macrovision). Also, when this happens and I start recording the channel being viewed or change to another channel or stop/restart the channel the problem goes away for another 30-60 seconds. This problem makes using the card in a dual configuration impossible since the problem affects almost half of the channels in my lineup. I've eliminated the decoder as the cause by testing with alternatives (using NVIDIA normally).

Is this type of dual configuration supported using this card? Anyone else seeing these?
