Hello everyone,
I'm new around here and needing a little help. I got the new TV Wonder 650 at BB and it works fine (some stuttering on HD channels) but I don't have an antenna for that yet. The problem I'm having is with the Catalyst Media Center installation. It crashes right in the end and I have to reset my PC. I have already tried everything (unplugging USB sticks, webcam, disabling some video drivers). I have a Geforce 7600GT by the way but I don't think it is the problem bc other programs can the the card and capture video from them. I just wanted to be able to use the Catalyst Media Center cos it's really cool and easy. Any tips? Oh and something else. I just tried to install PowerCinema 4 and it asks me to uninstall Catalyst Media Center. What's up with that? |

I cannot say why Catalyst Media Center crashes but there are some indications that Catalyst Media Center is actually a re-badged re-skinned version of Cyberlink PowerCinema 4. Cyberlink MakeDVD 2.0 also seems to be added to the Catalyst media center package for DVD burning and there may be a few other added tweaks,..
This would explain why PowerCinema 4 would require that Catalyst Media Center be uninstalled within the PowerCinema install program,….there can basically only be one instance of PowerCinema on any given system. Catalyst Media Center is in fact Cyberlink PowerCinema 4
