need tutorial for newby T550 pro please...

Hi everyone.

tonight I installed a ATI theater 550 pro. I bought this card used. it came with a remote wonder plus and all the cables but the person how has sold it to me lost the original cd. he burned some software he got from the internet... and now I'm suppose to be able to install this device.....

to make a long story short, I can't get to see the TV on my pc . that all I want for now...I tried to play with the remote control but when I do so, it opens my logitec media life.... I don't see what it does that? IMO it should open something from ATI ? is this normal?

the setup in the back of my PC is probably well done. tv cable plugged in the tv tuner card ( not in my main pci-e card ) ,BTW the cable signal is regular, not HD or else.... remote control antenna plugged.

what I'm looking for is a basic tutorial to be able to watch TV. also something that explains all the buttons on the remote....or if someone wants to help me I would really appreciate....

also if some of you could point out the must have softwares to eventually be able to record and burn a tv signal or a vhs , I would use that in the near future.
