Media Player Classic = No Audio?
Hi, I'm having a little trouble getting the audio to work with Media Player Classic.
Back when I used those old school audio tv tuners with the loopback cable, it worked perfectly fine. I set: Video -> ATI AVStream Analogue Capture Audio -> ATI AVStream Analogue Audio Capture The video comes through, but I don't hear anything. Could it be conflicting with ffdshow? |

Are you playing games through the composite cable?
Play>Filter>Xbar>Video LineIn (also check link related streams) Also, make sure you disable the internal filter. Options>Internal Filters>Audio Switcher Uncheck "enable built-in..." |

I tried composite, s-video, and rf.
And pretty much every setting in the xbar. If I use MCE, VLC, or Nero, the audio comes through perfectly fine. Oh, I almost forgot... If I "record" in Media Player Classic, the audio is recorded perfectly fine! Update: I narrowed it down to ffdshow... I uninstalled it and the audio is fine. Does anyone know which audio filter I should disable in ffdshow? Last edited by ShocWave; 19-12-2006 at 07:29 AM. |

Could possibly be the sound is coming through to windows from an "aux" source and on the windows sound control aux is muted so when the audio is live you dont hear anything but when it has been recorded and is being played back through the windows "wave" source its fine. Follow the screenshots on this page to get to the advanced volume control panel try unmuting all the extra windows outputs.
