650 pro, top set box and digital connections
Hi, I am thinking of getting the 650 pro and using it with a set top box. If I have a digital signal coming out of the set top box, how can I input it digitally into the computer as the "purple box" does not have any digital inputs? Much thanks, Yasmine

I believe you would use a splitter and split the coaxial signal to both the analog and digital connections on the 650. You would not use component or composite outputs as the 650 has no adapter for digital tv over such signals.

Hi, I am not sure what you mean and I am not sure you understood what I was getting at. I am trying to get the signal from my top box (digital out) into my computer via my tuner card (650) but the 650 has no digital inputs. In other words, is there a connector other than the purple box that comes with the 650 that I can use to connect to the set top box digitally (componant, hdmi)? I do appreciate your reply, much thanks, Yasmine
