I"m sure I'm repeating a previous thread for the umpteenth time, but everytime I think I've found one with the needed info I seem to find something in that only confuses me even. Bare with me...in brief...I have a Dell Dimension 5100 Media Center 2005 pc that came installed with a 256 MB Radion XT600 Hypermemory graphics card and an eHome Wonder Video card. I recently bought an ATI TV Wonder 650 High Definition PVR that came with Theater 550/650 Pro and Catalyst Media Center. Per the instructions I uninstalled anything related to ATI even having to manually delete files from the registry. The first attempt got me nowhere since I was unaware that I shoud have left the graphics card in its slot since in had the DVI and TV out connections. Repeated the previous steps and was able to see that I was close to an amazing picture, but with the exception of one time that everything was seemingly working perfect, I've had one problem after the other. Problems ranging from no tuner detection, MCE working while CMC didn't to recently having noticed the channels that once were noted as HD-101 now read as DT-101. The picture lacks the amazing sharpness that existed those few short days before I tried to fix something that wasn't broken.
I have uninstalled, reinstalled, read, reread so many instructions that I'm at a loss as to where to start over. Is there someone out there with patience who is willing to advise me how easy this should have been and provide me fool with proof steps so I would be able to watch the HD picture on my Dell 19" flat screen LCD panel as I've been waiting to do for almost four weeks now?
