At the risk of sounding gay, do you have to be a girl to like chick flicks?

I like Coyote Ugly, but haven't seen the other two you mention. Have you seen Empire Records (not sure if you'd class it as a chick flick though)?

Legally blonde 1 was tyhe worst movie I've ever seen - the idea of watching the sequel makes me want to run and hide.

If you want to get a really good 'chickflick' get Serendipity out on DVD - it came out last Jan and got missed by most but is REALLY good.

I loved Notting Hill, cos it was funny......I loved Loe Actually, saw it last week.....seriously funny...

    BUT...are they really chick flicks?

I would think more likely a chick flick is that heap of carp with MelGibson in it, What Women Want...
now THAT was a chick flick

    dire......and AIMED at lasses.

Love Actually was not aimed at Chicks.....no way.....its a bloke film

I have 2 daughters and my Wife to fight with over movies. I see a LOT of chick flicks. Being very open minded I can say some have been very good, Girl Interrupted was kinda dark. Some just plain sucked too.
