| however its appeal is much more widespread. lots of people, including myself, find lotr boring, dull, longwinded and repetitive whereas nearly everyone finds pirates of the carribean entertaining hughlunnon@yahoo.com | I have sigs turned off.. |

| A bit like Westlife winning record of the year for Mingey or was it Mangy? Widespread appeal and winning a public vote ain't always (ever?) a measure of quality.P of the C was a v good and entertaining film but it's not in the same league as lotr or, come to think of it, Kill Bill. |

| i aint seen Pirates of the Caribean, or LOTR 3 yet, but i think the missus needs to be dragged along to LOTR. my list is: 1. Kill Bill vol. 1 2. Bad Boys 2 3. Matrix Reloaded if war is the answer, then we are asking the wrong question 2 things i hate the most - xenophobia and the french "chuffing" |
