Humax and topfield are highly recomended by others on here, but i think they are out of your price limit.

I've yet too see one worth buying at this price bracket. They all have large numbers of people complaining about the firmware crashing/hanging and missing tv shows!

Topfield TF5800 PVR. It's the best. You might get one for around £150 on ebay. www.toppy.org.uk has a load of info on what you can do with em.

this is the problem all the £150 ones seem to be rubbish. nice gap in the market for a decent manu to release one

thats what im using.. got it refurb from dabs (thanks to someone in the smartshoppers for pointing it out) and i could not be happier. you have to ignore all the old reviews of it as the majority were done before the OTA firmware update that has sorted out pretty much everything.

what features are you looking for 5cupa? how much storage do you need? dual tuners? any fancy features that have caught your eye?
