    Tuning issues

Hi all, I recently bought a Sharp Aquos LC-42XD1EA but am having trouble tuning it in, both terrestrial and Freeview channels.

This is my first HDTV digital TV, and I'm really not all that technical in the first place. The auto-tuner gets me poor receptions of BBC1 and Channel 4, but that's about it.

Any help you could suggest before I have to turn to the extortionate Sharp helpline would be much appreciated, please ask if there's any essential information missing and I hope this is posted in the right place.

    Thanks a lot
    : )

    Hi Nicole,

Sorry to say that this seems to be in the wrong place !

Apologies for the forum heading - but this is 'TV' in the sense that we make shows and broadcast them - rather than attack cool looking Sharp Aquos LCDs with screwdrivers

Can I suggest you repost in this forum... http://forums.HEXUS.net/audio-visual-standard-hd/

They cover TV and should be able to help

I kept 6 trusted serving men, they taught me all I knew.
There names were what and where and why and how and when and who.

(I also had the HEXUS forums on speed dial just in case )
