Connecting PS2, GC and Sky up to PC monitor

As above any ideas on the best way to achive this? Ive seen a number of converters around that convert the signal to stnadard VGA for the monitor but not sure about the sound, in a ideal world I would like some way to conenct the devices to the second VGA port on my monitor and then for sound connect to the sound cards line in?
    Advice please

There are devices that can do that, there probably your best bet. You could use the Composite in on a TV card or the breakout box if you had an FX card.

Sound, whats wrong with feeding it into your line in? If its a PS2, why not be really cleaver and feed it into your Optical port?

The VGA convertor box would be higher quality than a composite signal in anyday IMO!

    that depends, unrealrocks

i tested a Gamecube VGA adapter, and words cannot cover how ass it was.

The best (if a little expensive) option is the Micomsoft XRGB2+, available http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?cat...oducts_id=2875

warning tho, that's _NOT_ a scart socket, you'll burn out most things involved if you try & use scart

if you want to connect that many devices to your pc monitor the best bet is either a PCI/USB TV card or replace your GFX card with a ALL-in-WONDER or VIVO Card, you could get a scart switch box so you do not to keep un-plugging stuff in and out

dont use a usb1 capture card cos usb1 cant cope with 640x480 @ 30fps - it can either do 15fps or run half res (320x240ish)
