I am all for it! As long as you buy the HDDVD and just want to store it on your network for HTPC I see no issues really.

HD-DVD does that being region free, BD does not. AnyDVD takes care of that ...

meh, when will companies learn that stronger DRM = bigger challenge = more people wanting the glory of cracking it. and even more restrictive DRM just drives more people to piracy, why pay for a crippled version when you can get a proper version for free?
