this film is pretty good - the time flicking stuff is a bit ..wtf.. at the start (we missed the first 5 mins so it might be fine otherwise) but it soon settles down. nice epic, its got bits about war, but doesnt really go on about war, if ya know what i mean. oh and its pretty grusom in bits. nicole kidman has a fine arse, and looks f*cking fiiiiine in general towards the end. worth seeing just for her. wasnt really something i'd take my musses to see, and i probably wouldnt see it twice (2.5 hours long..). renee zellwatchamacallit is funny as hell thou

Its def worth the watch ive seen it twice and the second time i took tumble with me.... its a really cool film and abit to gruesome at times. I cried at the end, and if i saw it again i would probably cry all the way through, its one of those films - the more u see it the more your likely to cry Jude law is pretty nice in it as well girl's

And if you hadnt missed the first five minutes, then the time thing wouldnt have been a problem....

I thought it was good, right up until the ending which is a load of cliched old *******s I've seen a hundred times before. Really I expected more from Anthony Minghella. If it hadn't had that I'd have given it 8/10, as it is I can't go any higher than 5/10.

My wife, being a wimp, found the violence a bit hard to take, so be warned if you're squeamish.

Edit: Ray Winstone's accent is rubbish too. Really he should stick to gangster pics if he's not prepared to make the effort to act properly
