SlimDevices Duet Just had an email from SlimDevices, by final Squeeze Controller and Squeeze Reciever combo has been dispatched from California ![]() I was involved in the beta program for the Controller and the JiveOS. They sent out a Beta version of the Controller some time ago. After announcing the reciever at CES they then promised to send out of these out to the beta testers as well. Th email this morning said they are sending out a new controller as well. They have re-designed the wirless pickups to significantly improve the signal strength. Looking forward to getting this. Should be at my parents place by the weekend or the start of the week, although I won't get it until I'm back from offshore. Adds nicely to my collection, I have two SB3s (classic black and silver with SlimDevices logos), a SB2 and a SliMP3. I think I need a bigger place, dot more music streamers than room at the moment. Still need to get my hands on a SB1, SB2 with the graphics upgrade and a Transporter

Re: SlimDevices Duet Nice ![]() I only just noticed that the latest update to the SB3 removes slimdevices from the startup and replaces it with Logitech, but it still has the slimdevices on the slivery bit on the bottom. I hardly power it off, so that's my excuse for not seeing it sooner. ---- Why do Computer Scientists get Halloween and Christmas mixed up? Because Oct. 31 = Dec. 25.

Re: SlimDevices Duet You need to have a look at SqueezeCenter 7, new name for SlimServer. Some pretty big changes have been made. Default skin is a lot better, more dynamic. Player sync is damn near perfect too from what I've read, although I don't use that feature. SqueezeNetwork and SqueezeCenter are now quite tightly intergated so setting can be preserved when switching between them. All very cool. Should be released soon. It has been pushed back a few times, they are trying to make it the most stable and reliable server ever, and i think it will be. Can't wait for a SC7 module for my N5200
