    Red Dragon

I watched this last night on sky, was a weaker story than hannibal.

imo this would have fallen on its ass if it hadn't been for norton and hopkins. It just seemed too much like a standard thriller by numbers

Personally I prefer Manhunter (Red Dragon's a remake of Manhunter).

Brian Cox made a better Hannibal :-)

As long as you don't expect it to be on a par with silence of the lambs then yeah i'd say its worth watching if only for Ralph Fiennes as the bad guy, he does do the whole crazy thing pretty damn well, i wouldn't reccomend buying it on dvd though, one for rental.

    nichomach's system
You can't beat Tom Noonan as Francis Dolarhyde, and William Peterson made an excellent Will Graham - speaking of which, anyone see the CSI episode with the weird bald magician guy who fakes his own death? Noonan v Peterson again, just like Manhunter, must have been quite like old times...
