New Headphones
Right, my beloved Medusa's have finally bitten the dust, I'm in the market for a new pair of headphones, this time mainly for listening to music, which will be supplied by my X-Fi. Built-in microphone isn't necessarily required... budget range is pretty good, I don't mind spending up to about £90, but it had better be worth it! I've heard great things about the Sennheiser range (big fan of my CX300s), so far looking at:

Re: New Headphones
I've used a set of PX100s for years at work (on my 3rd set of pads) and they really are great. I haven't used any of the can type Sennheiser headphones before (I have Medusas myself). I've heard good things about Sony 'Eggos' though, I believe that headphones starting MDR-D### are Eggos. Sony Uk sell them, but if you fancy some thing more exclusive AudioCubes.com sell import cans as well.
Given your specs though, I would agree with your choices. |

Re: New Headphones
After chatting with some audio mates and getting a very good deal I've pulled the trigger on the HD595s... I'll let you know how they go!

Re: New Headphones
Well the little beauties turned up in a rather fantastic box, whipped them out and started playing around... wow. It's like night and day, the quality is just spectacular... they are just so crisp, accurate and clean, the sounds is perfect! Very very pleased, the strange thing is going back to normal headphones after is hilarious, they sound tinny and bland in comparison!
