    HD PVR Multi room

    Hi,

    Im looking to set up a HD PVR in the lounge, but I would also like to watch the play back in the bedroom.
    Im assuming I could use a video sender, but I would like to be able to watch different things in the 2 rooms. Are there any pvrs that link that can share content either wireless or ethernet? I dont really want a PC in each room, but if thats the best option so be it. I would like to have the following;

    Dual in, so I can watch 1 channel and record another
    series link
    HD
    networkable.

    Alternatively is there an appliance that I can plug in to the TV that will stream video and software that will allow me to manage my video content in the same way that squeezebox does my sound?

    Thanks

    Of if you're scared of Linux like myself (still), then Vista running Media Centre is superb. Any Xbox 360 can also be added as an extender too (which basically gives you almost everything that the main machine has). An Xbox 360 can be had for pretty cheap too, along with it being a DVD player

    Thanks,
    So if i run a myth tv server on a linux box can the xbox 360 work as a client or will that need a linux OS too?

    Has anyone used the dreambox 8000HD and if so can you get the recorded content from it and view the format ok so it can go out to other clients?

    the 360 will refuse to access recordings from mythtv, and can't do livetv. the ps3 does recordings fine, but not livetv.

    i suspect a dreambox would output usable files - it's largely designed for hackery, so it'll probably just save the MPEG-TS as-is
