Alien Vs Predator Those of you looking foward to this film may not be after you hear who is lined up for direction. Most of you may not be bothered by the news, but some of you might. Paul WS Anderson. Thats right, that fella who hasnt succeded in creating a quality film yet in his career has been said to write direct. His films include Resident Evil, Event Horizen - ahem - Mortal Combat and Soldier with the main man Kurt Russell. Its not definate but he is one of the people who is being seriously considered. Should this be allowed? Why not get our very own Neil Marshall in to make it? He knows how to make a good film and would handle it brilliantly! I want this film to be good, I hope he doesent mess it up! After all, all directors have to have at least one good film under their belt. Right? Right?

Mortal Kombat, was unutterably crap, as was Soldier. Can't speak to RE, haven't seen it, but I actually thought Event Horizon was very good. I liked Laurence Fishburne, and Sean Pertwee's a favourite of mine; my interest has absolutely NOTHING to do with Joely Richardson in a state of semi-undress. Nothing. Whatsoever. At all. Just so's that's clear, alright?

Its not just about the plot, its about the direction, the dialogue and all the other things that make a good film. Die Hard doesent exactly have the greatest plot ever. But its a superb film!

I dont think you are gong to get much emotion and dialogue from a Predator vs Alien Ok - No doubt there will be the human element involved, but it the heart of it is a spin off comic story involving 2 science fiction aliens. Probably not the stuff that would interest a serious producer

I suppose your right there. It will no doubt be a cheesy popcorn movie with no scares just imaginative deaths. On the same grounds as Freddy Vs Jason to be honest.

From the last Alien installment they probably reckon nothing more can come from such a franchise. I would go and see it though! And there are others who would so they would get plenty of moneh from it! we gonna have to settle for Mr. Anderson
