    Re: Panasonic Lcd

a quick google dug this up...

Panasonic’s LCD TV’s for 2009 now feature 100Hz “Intelligent Frame Creation” technology. By doubling the on screen frame rate (number of frames shown every second) Panasonic are promising screens which have a much reduced susceptibility to ‘blurring’ with fast motion sequences.

Panasonic’s ‘Viera Cast’ technology makes its debut on the V10 and the G15 series. The feature allows users to access online content through their TVs. Content comes from media partners such as Bloomberg, YouTube, EuroSport and Picasa Web Albums. Content is streamed over a home network via Ethernet.

The 2009 range features an IPS Alpha panel with large aperture ratio, for clearer pictures along with a claimed 50,000:1 dynamic contrast and wide colour viewing angle.

At the top of the 2009 LCD product range is the V10 series, which boasts a slim design. The V10 series comes in the shape of the 32in (TX-L32V10), and 37in (TX-L37V10). Other features include Viera Cast, Viera Image Viewer, Viera Link, and DLNA (for streaming media content from a PC across Ethernet).

Arriving as just a 37in option, the G15 is the only other TV in the 2009 line-up to boast the same full networking capabilities as the V10 and features a black stand.

Featuring Viera Link and Viera Image Viewer are the G10 and S10 series. The G10 will be available in 32in and 37in screen sizes, while the S10 will be available 32in, 37in and 42in (the biggest Panasonic LCD screen to date). The G10 and S10 series also feature Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution formats.

Available in 26in and 32in screens sizes, the C10 series feature HD ready screens along with an eco mode to reduce power consumption.

Finally, the X15 and X10 series introduce smaller HD ready models with the X10 available in 19in, 26in and 32in inch sizes, while the X15 is available as a 32in model.

Panasonic have yet to confirm launch dates and prices.
