| HDMI vrs my Samsung LE32R74BDX and win7 So, this is an odd one, due to not having a spare 1m HDMI lead, i've been using a VGA lead. After putting win 7 on my Media PC, (zotac 9300-itx based) I decided to go out and buy a 1m HDMI cable, £3 later, i've got it, put it on my PC, but the fecking TV seems to be telling it to use 720p rather than its 1366x768 native. So i piss about the in the nvidia control panel, make something which matches the times as reported on VGA. No bloody joy. Funny thing is, i swear way before i had this media PC, when my laptop was still running Vista, i'd hooked it up and had no problems (8600 GM) but now thats running windows 7, again no joy. I can't help but feal blaming the OS/Drivers is wrong, its actually the fault of the panel! I did a quick google, but could only find people talking about disabling overscan, which the newer samsungs have, this is what i do on the one in my lounge. Any thoughts? throw new ArgumentException (String, String, Exception) |
