| www.delta-retail.co.uk | Re: cancelling sky NOT PLEASED!! Simplest thing to do for now is as has been suggested - downgrade to a cheaper pack (basic + 2 mixes for example) which will mean your Sky+ sub becomes free. You are talking about getting a decent HDTV though..so why not talk to sky about upgrading to HD instead?...granted this would then mean you had to pay that £10 a month for the HD sub..which means for the basic set you are then paying £26.50 a month (£27.50/mo with knowledge..worth it if you are getting HD) and you will have a new HD box to actually give you some HD content for your new TV. Cheaper than buying lots of Blu-rays (although you could do that too ) )and there really is a lot of HD content on Sky these days..If you have a HDTV SkyHD is 100% worth it imo..unlike Freesat HD for example which has just 2 HD channels worth watching iirc? (BBC + ITV)I guess it depends how much you watch your TV and if you are bothered about HD content or not. I know some people balk at the idea of paying £26 a month for sky though...but each to their own I guess Mac Pro, 2x Quad core 2.8ghz Xeon, 512mb 8800GT, 512mb 8500GT, 4gb DDR2 FB-Dimm HP Touchsmart TX2 HTC Touch Pro on EnergyROM with HTC Sense 2.5 (MaxManilla) "Is it a coincidence that an anagram of gordon brown is "born do wrong" ?, I rest my case. |
