    Encoding DVDs

I have, for some time, been working on a software library of many of my DVDs. However, I have tried it in several formats and I am not happy with any of it.

Ideall I would like them all to exist in the same format as a single file that will run in almost any player. For example, .mp4 would be perfect. The real question is what program to do this in. Handbrake is currently looking very interesting, but does anyone have any better advice. Given the size of the task, the ability to slot in a disk and press a go button is useful...

Also playing with Badaboom, anyone got any advice on filesize/format?

Sorry, but we don't allow discussion of DVD decrypting / re-encoding due to possible legal issues

    Cheers
